Dogfish 90 Minute IPA - Dogfish Brewery - Rehobeth, DE (9.5)
The Dogfish Brewery could very well be the best Brew house on the East Coast. Every time I pick up anything from Dogfish, I know that I'm in for a fantastic brew. I'm sure that before Dogfish, Rehobeth was only famous for beaches that sell awesome Salt water taffy but Dogfish has put Rehobeth back on the map. As unbelievable as it may sound, I think we've cracked the Top 5 again here. Here's what the website had to say:
Esquire Magazine calls our 90 Minute IPA., "perhaps the best I.P.A. in America." An Imperial I.P.A. brewed to be savored from a snifter. A big beer with a great malt backbone that stands up to the extreme hopping rate.
90 Minute IPA was our first continually-hopped beer, which is a method of hopping that allows for a pungent, but not crushing hop flavor. Since introducing the world to the continual-hopping method with our 90 Minute IPA, we've since released a continually-hopped 60 Minute IPA, 120 Minute IPA and even a 75 Minute IPA (a cask-conditioned blend of 60 & 90 Minute IPAs).
In addition to the continual-hopping 90 Minute IPA recieves during the boil, we also utilize our 'Me So Hoppy' device to dry-hop the beer during conditioning (check it out in the video below).
This beer is an excellent candidate for use with our Randall The Enamel Animal filter!

This IPA knocks it out of the park. It has spirit and punch. If Hoppy is your thing...this will be right up your alley. As I worked my way through my glass, I kept getting knocked over by the various aromas and flavors. This is NOT the beer for a friends BBQ. This IS the beer to enjoy at the house...with people that you truly care about. It is fantastic. Seek it out ASAP. O, and by the way...check out Top Beers...it is now my Top 10.
