Once again, I decided to stick with the Lagunitas Brewery out of Petaluma, CA. My last choice was fantastic, but this time, I decided to go with something a little more extreme, their Hop Stoopid Brew. This selection is described as ridiculously hoppy. According to the virtual tasting on their website (a great site by the way), they've combined a stupid amount of all kinds of hops. They say that you can taste the raspberry and apricot flavors and that the bitterness is off the charts. Here's what the website had to say:
Sold As:
22-Ounce Bombers and Kegs
Net contents:
Malt, Hops, Yeast, and water.
Hop Stoopid Ale
For those mornings when you have to cut right to the chase, this is the one. Sure to blast through just about anything still lingering from the night before, this mouthful of Hops and huge rich Malt has a gaurantee built right into the name!

REVIEW:
Bitterness and complexity are the words that come to mind. The moment you raise your glass, your senses are attacked with flavor and bitterness. You can taste the hops before it evens hits your taste buds...then you take a sip. Damn that's hoppy. It took me a few sips before I could finally distinguish between all of the flavors. You do taste the apricots and raspberries. You literally can taste the fact that we're dealing with a whole boatload of different variants of hops. This is a harsh brew that is not meant for the average beer drinker. You'll have to play nice though, and respect the brew, as it clock in at 8% ALC by volume...so take it easy, but please do have a go at it if you can.
RATING:
8/10 - Nice...but go slow
