Toast to Pearl Jam -- with PJ beer

There have been all sorts of ways for fans to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Pearl Jam's Ten -- a documentary, a commemorative book -- and now the band has its own brew to boot.

Faithfull Ale was just released by Dogfish Head Craft Brewery. It honors PJ's 20th, as well as the band's "ethics, community-building and commitment to putting music before commerce."

Says Dogfish Head president and founder Sam Calagione."As an off-centered brewery, we believe in celebrating the breadth of our whole portfolio and we feel an affinity for Pearl Jam a long-player band in a singles-obsessed world."

As for the taste, the "Belgian-style golden ale is delicately hopped to 20 IBUs and fruit-forward from 10 incremental additions of black currants over a one-hour boil."

Dogfish Head is also re-releasing its Miles Davis-inspired beer, Bitches Brew, and the Robert Johnson-inspired Hellhound on My Ale. Mmm.
