Newman, Lambert and Schembre to speak at the Brewbound Craft Beer Session June 5th in NYC
Brewbound is pleased to announce a trio of craft beer veterans to speak at the Brewbound Craft Beer Session (June 5, NYC). They are:
* Alan Newman - The founder of Magic Hat is now tapping entrepreneurial energies at his latest venture, Alchemy & Science, a craft-brew incubation project he developed with financing from Boston Beer’s Jim Koch. The company’s first projects include the acquisition of Los Angeles, Calif.-based Angel City Brewing and the recently launched ‘House of Shandy.’
* Adam Lambert - Dogfish Head Brewing’s VP of Sales will speak to the importance of clear branding and how to communicate your brand’s strengths to distributors and retailers. Prior to Dogfish, Lambert spent six years with Rogue Ales, helping grow the brand from 22,000 barrels and $5 million in sales to 68,000 barrels and over $20 million.
* Jim Schembre – Jim is the National General Manager of World Class Beer, a network of independent, craft-oriented beer wholesalers located in more than 20 states. Schembre will discuss the ongoing evolution of the relationship between craft brewers and their wholesalers, paying specific attention to the role that multistate distributor organizations like World Class Beer can play in brand-building.
Designed specifically for craft brewers, the Brewbound Craft Beer Session is a conference that will address topics such as marketing, financing, and distribution strategies. The scale and structure of the conference will enable the audience to learn from and network with speakers, investors, panelists, suppliers and fellow attendees.
The Brewbound Craft Beer Session will be co-located with BevNET LIVE (June 4,5), affording the Brewbound Session attendees access to more than 450 attendees and 200 companies participating in the BevNET event. These attendees include major distributors, retailers, investors and suppliers.
Additionally, Brewbound Session attendees are invited to attend the Monday afternoon BevNET Expo on June 4th and to join the subsequent cocktail reception on Monday evening. Sampling opportunities will be available at the BevNET reception on Monday evening.
Nearly half-price early-bird pricing is in effect through April 17th. For more information or to register click here: http://www.brewbound.com/ conference/overview
