Frozen Dead Guy Days!!
For three days in the month of March, the small town of
Nederland, Colorado will become the focal point for celebrating the dead.
It's become quite the tradition. Head up to our little Rocky Mountain town of Nederland, CO,
and rage for 3 days of one of the craziest festivals around! Coffin races, ice turkey bowling, the
brain freeze competition, the polar plunge, and too many other wild events to
count. Join us this weekend!

Frozen Dead Guy Days is a pretty off the wall festival but
it doesn’t mean you have to be. Please be mindful of the people around you and
respectful of the good people of Nederland who are kind enough to allow this
unique event to go on in their lovely mountain community.
Festival Hours
Friday – 3:00pm – 8:00pm
Saturday 8:00am – 8:30pm
Sunday 8:00am – 6:00pm
Directions
FROM BOULDER: Take Hwy. 119 (Canyon Boulevard) 17 miles West
(up) to Nederland. Follow signs to parking and events.
FROM WESTBOUND I-70: Take I-25 North to Hwy. 36 (Boulder
Turnpike) and follow it into Boulder. Turn Left on Hwy. 119 (Canyon Boulevard)
and follow signs to parking and events.
FROM EASTBOUND I-70: Take Exit 244 (Route 6) to Hwy. 119 and
turn Left (North). Follow that through Blackhawk/Central City, down past
Rollinsville and on into Nederland. Follow signs to parking and events.
Parking and Transportation
Nederland is a small town, please visit our parking and
transportation page for more details. If you are driving be sure to follow
parking signs and guides and stay out of residential areas.
Dogs
Frozen Dead Guy Days is a very crowded, loud and chaotic
festival. Please leave your dog at home. If you must bring your pooch remember:
Dogs are NOT ALLOWED in the tents or tent area.
Dogs must be on leash AT ALL TIMES.
Dogs tied up outside tent areas, shops and restaurants
without their owner are considered “at large” and you could be ticketed.
You must pick up after your dog, please some prepared.
Alcohol
Open containers of alcohol are not allowed anywhere within
town limits. Open alcohol containers are absolutely not allowed inside the
Re-Animate or Brain Freezer tents where alcohol is served. NO BYOB please.
You must be 21 and show proof of age in order to receive a
21+ wristband and purchase tickets good for beer and specialty drinks in the
tents where alcohol is served. Beer tickets will be sold outside the tent
areas, servers will not take cash for beer.
You may be asked by Festival Security or by local police to
dump or dispose of alcohol when it is being consumed in public areas, INCLUDING
streets and neighborhoods.
Weather
It may be sunny and 60 degrees or windy and 30 degrees and
it may be both in the same day. Please come prepared for the worst albeit
hoping for the best. Wear
comfortable, weatherproof shoes and a genuine smile whenever possible.
Oops I forgot it! or I need more of it!
There is an Ace Hardware store located off 119 if you find
yourself in need of anything as well as the B&F Grocery store. ATM’s are at several locations around
town as well as at the tents.
